Cartoons provide a stage to the world of Art, expressing a life view in a humoristic fashion, opening up a window to social critique, crossing borders.
All the cartoons reflect unique ethnic and folkloric characteristics that expose, the hidden face of reality, we refuse to see at times.

Regulation the Fourteenth Exhibition
International 2011 Comic-Haifa
For fourteen years, the Municipality of Haifa has been conducting the International Cartoon Contest, in collaboration with the Association of cartoonists (PENCOM).
The main theme for the 17 ° International Cartoon Contest, Haifa 2011, is:
· ; technological and scientific progress,
· robotics,
· humanity for the creation their future,
· technological innovations
· International cooperation industrial
· ; cooperative R & D,
· science projects,
· renewable energy
· physics and electronics technologies,
· cars without drivers,
· water purification,
· Water incubator
Achievements in informatics,
· industrial creativity in next decade,
· Facebook and the Internet - its contribution to humanity
The cartoons may relate to an ideal situation that every artist aspires or proposed or actual situations on the issues.
The contest judges will not consider those cartoons that relate to issues political or racist.

Conditions for participation:
- Each participant may submit up to five (3) entries maximum per category.
- Manuscripts may be submitted as high quality digital copies, size 21 cm . 29.7 cm x . and can be used all graphic techniques.
- The name and address of the participant must be written on the back of each submitted paper.
- Each participant will complete all data requested in the circular of the event, at the end of it.
- Shipping costs will be paid by the sender.
- Organizers are not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping.
- Once the exhibition in Haifa has finished, the original cartoons may be returned to the artist to your order.
- By participating in this contest, cartoonists agree that their work may be presented in exhibitions in and outside Israel.
- first three will be awarded cash prizes: 1 °: U $ S 500 .- (U.S. $), 2 °: U $ S 300 .-, 3 °: U $ S 200 .-
- A catalog with the best work and will be sent the authors of them without cost.
The organization team of the tournament is awarded the right to publish the work for the promotion of it.
