Books Review Contest VII: Nephilim: "The Kiss of Dawn" Music Friday
Hello bloggers! What are we? Well, today I bring you the review of Nephilim few days ago I finished, the truth is that this book caught my attention but initially thought he had seen in one of the IMM with a friend, but it turned out that no, because she does not, and I really do not know where I saw it, perhaps dreaming with haha, leave one of my paranoia, no, not as it was, just know that when one day I went to standard library and was wondering if I find, I buy it, go in, and there was like waiting ... no need to tell you that when I bought it! :)
Well, I'll do this, I always tell my life and I only wound!
Synopsis:
When Sophie, a young music student, known in Salzburg and enigmatic virtuoso cellist Nathaniel Gregory , what he feels is love at first sight. However, the end of the summer he the leaves suddenly. Sophie only thing left is the daughter they had in common, Aurora, who at the age of seven years undergoes a strange transformation. What Sophie does not know is that his daughter has revived an ancient struggle between good and evil ... Not surprisingly Nathanael and Aurora are not normal human beings, but Nephilim, immortal, and must fulfill a secret mission ...
Personal opinion: As I said above I do not know what happened to this book, but I got between his eyebrows and decided to buy it.
The truth is that I was surprised on each page, there are things you say, this is already seen it coming, but that happens sometimes. Instead, at times saying it can not be! such as this! changes incredible book! But with good reason, not with changes that have neither head nor tail.
Sophie is an outstanding music student in Salzburg, where he meets Nathanael Grigori, a superb cellist, in the place where she is studying. We intend to play a song with Nathanael and she falls madly in love with him.
After a brief history of love, cellist disappears, leaving Sophie an unexpected gift.
This Aurora is born of passion romance until she meets the seven years is quite normal, but after his seventh birthday, Aurora begins to behave strangely, such that frightens his mother. Since it has no powers but a normal woman, shy with their strengths and weaknesses, but what is clear is that nothing is beyond his daughter and would do anything to protect her.
The book speaks of beings "Nephilim" which can be good or bad (sons of snakes), each with their struggle.
The story is told by Sophie at first person, telling their feelings fears everything feels as the story goes. I do not know if I've been able to convey what I wanted to tell, but I have a positive opinion on this book had me hooked even though it has not had much action. My score is a 4 / 5
What do you think of this book? Had you intended to read it? ;)
